Our story
The story and people behind Prologue
Our story
Founded by behavioural economist Jon Salthouse in 2022, Prologue was created recognising that most organisational changes fail. People experience it as something written for them, not with them. We exist to help people become authors of change, not just recipients of it.
Our work is built on one simple belief; ‘everything that stands in your way is human’; Every organisation is unique. Every transformation has its own challenges. But beneath every strategy, programme, and initiative sits complex pathways of human decisions. Therefore to create change at the organisational level requires rewiring behaviours at the human level.
That’s where we come in. We’re not a traditional consultancy nor are we a delivery agency. We’re your authors of change. Working with you as an expert partner, providing cross-industry expertise, using behavioural science, change management, and creative communication, to help people adopt new ways of working.
Most organisations ask people to turn the page.
We help them hold the pen.
The principles that guide how we work…
We consume complexity at speed.
Like a supercomputer after its morning coffee, we rapidly make sense of complex organisations, strategies and challenges.
We obsess over human behaviour.
We spend our time understanding what’s happening inside your audience’s mind, because behaviour drives action.
We find the narrative in the noise.
Every transformation has a story. Our job is to uncover it, shape it, and make it impossible to ignore.
We create experiences people remember.
Whether it’s a campaign, event or training programme, we believe engagement should feel more West End than workshop.
We think beyond the next chapter.
We don’t just solve today’s problem. We look ahead to what comes next and design for lasting change.
We measure what matters.
From sentiment to adoption, we use insight and data to understand whether change is landing, and where the story needs rewriting.
